      Dr. Jerome Sherman has published over 725 clinical articles, research manuscripts, book chapters and two CDs. Having graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, he presently holds the position of Distinguished Teaching Professor at State University of New York College of Optometry and the Schnurmacher Institute of Vision Research. Concurrently, he maintains a private practice, The Eye Institute and Laser Center, in New York City. Dr. Sherman is a founding member of both the International Foundation for Optic Nerve Disease (IFOND) and the Optometric Retina Society (ORS).
